Background Information of
Grace Alone Ministry
Programs that are relevant (based on the needs), systematic (through specific curriculum) and efficient (by following a certain module) are immediately needed to be thought through and executed. This is why GRAMI exists.
By His mercy, Grace Alone Ministry (GRAMI) was established in 2015. The focus of our ministry has always been in multimedia. Many Christians throughout Indonesia have been blessed through the 24-hour live radio ministry and YouTube channel.
In the beginning of 2018, GRAMI ventured to expand our ministry reach. Besides multimedia, we are dedicated to further deepen our field research, teaching materials, and literature. Each field compliment each other in order to achieve GRAMI’s vision efficiently and effectively. Based on the actual findings revealed through research, we seek to respond to the needs through various programs: seminars, intensive courses, and trainings. The programs will continually be developed from our literature and multimedia resources.
These initiatives are carried out with a purpose. Ministry experience and feedbacks from ministers of the Lord as well as other church activists and Christian institutions have made us realize they need to be further equipped. Current programs tend to gear towards popular activities (whatever the general population likes dan able to attract more people). Some of these programs are being done sporadically, without a comprehensive concept and curriculum.
However, this situation should not be overlooked. There seems to be a lot of Christian activities, but stands stagnant. Programs that are relevant (based on the needs), systematic (through specific curriculum) and efficient (by following a certain module) are immediately needed to be thought through and executed. This is why GRAMI exists.
To be the catalyst in the four areas of LEAP ministry— Leadership, Evangelism, Apologetics, and Preaching that is gospel-centered.
To provide a suitable and correct teaching of the Bible, solid theology, radical change of the spiritual life, and substantial culture transformation through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
There are many and various needs at hand. It is impossible to meet all kind of needs by ourselves. With this limitation, GRAMI decided to focus on four aspects in ministry and its to be known as L.E.A.P.: Leadership, Evangelism, Apologetics, and Preaching. We believe these four aspects are vital for the realization of GRAMI’s vision.
According to GRAMI’s overall mindset, our heart is to be a listener, learner, partner, and helper for the body of Christ. We are not a savior, nor a hero. But rather, we are available to listen and learn from other churches and Christian institutions. We believe that only through this kind of approach, that we will be able to become a suitable partner and helper.
Integrating the two mandates from the Triune God — the Cultural Mandate and the Great Commission — GRAMI seeks to carry out this slogan:
“Changing Life, Transforming Culture”
The number four serves as the letter (A) as well as number (4). The letter (A) is placed within the letter (G) to show the abbreviation of Grace Alone. The number (4) represents the four ministry areas (research, training, literature, and multimedia) and four ministry focus (leadership, evangelism, apologetics, and preaching).
The hand within the circle implies GRAMI’s willingness to lend a hand to churches and institutions that are in need of help. The shape of the logo is similar to the Reformed Exodus Community (REC) Church’s logo, in order to appreciate the history that GRAMI was formed by several pastors and congregation from REC. Today, this ministry has become interdenominational within its staff, management, and sponsors from various churches and Christian institution
